Getting In

Boston is easily accessible by air, car, and train.

Car: Boston is at the intersection of two major highways, I-93 and I-90, also known as the Massachusetts Turnpike. The city is approximately seven hours from Washington, five from Philadelphia, and three and a half from New York. Valet Parking will be available at the hotel. Street Parking may be limited.

Train: Amtrak runs into three stations in Boston. From Back Bay Station it is a mere four minute walk to the hotel, through Boston’s scenic downtown. Exiting the station take a right turn on Dartmouth, and then a left on Huntington Avenue. http://www.amtrak.com/home

Air: From Logan Airport it is possible to reach the hotel by Taxi or by a brief T ride. To take the T to the hotel, first take the Airport Shuttle to the Airport Subway Station. Board the Blue Line towards Bowdoin. At State Street transfer to the Orange Line towards Forest Hills, and take it to Back Bay Station. From Back Bay turn right on Dartmouth and then left on Huntington.

Getting Around

Once within the city the most convenient and cheapest mode of conveyance is the MBTA bus and subway system. Single Rides cost $2.60 so consider purchasing a reusable, rechargeable Charlie card. The Green and Red lines are nearest to the hotel and provide service to most major tourist destinations. The MFA and Coolidge Corner are accessible via the Green Line, while the Red Line runs over the river into Cambridge.
