All conference events will be at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel. Located on West End Avenue across the street from Vanderbilt University and only a few minutes away from downtown Nashville, the Loews features spacious and luxurious guest rooms. Guests have acces to a fitness center and a business center. The hotel also has a salon and a spa, and offers childcare, dry cleaning and laundry service, and a gift shop. It is also a stone's throw from the world's only complete Parthenon, featuring a massive statue of Athena reputed to be by a descendent of Phidias.

We have secured a special rate of $175 (plus tax) for a single or a double (discounted from $250), $195 for a triple, and $215 for a quad, for conference registrants who register by October 10, 2008.

To receive the special rate, registration for the MSA Conference is required. Failure to register for the conference may result in forfeiture of room or increase in room rate. Contact the hotel directly to make your reservation (1-800-336-3335) and mention the Modernist Studies Association to get the special rate. If you plan to make your reservations online, use the following registration code to obtain the conference rate: MSAO08.
