Registration and Directions

REGISTRATION:

Registration will take place in the Humanities building during the following hours:

Friday, 3:30-7
Saturday, 9-6
Sunday, 10-5
Monday, 10-1

Please come by registration as soon as you can to pick up receipts, badges, the program, and a welcome packet. The Opening Night Reception will take place Friday at 7:00 P.M. in the Grand Hall of the Rice Memorial Center. Introductions will take place at 7:30. HOTEL DIRECTIONS:

To get from the airports to the Marriott Hotel, please follow these directions:

Houston/William P Hobby - HOU (15 mi SE) Take I-45 North to 610 Loop West, exit Fannin. Turn right at the light, go north 2 miles to Dryden Street and turn left for Marriott entrance.

Houston Intercontinental - IAH (30 mi NE) Take Hwy. 59 South to Fannin Exit, turn left, going south 2 miles to Dryden Street. Turn right for Marriott entrance. The Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza are on Main Street, within sight of the Marriott.

GETTING FROM THE HOTELS TO RICE:

We will be running shuttle busses from the hotels to Rice. If you would like to walk, go north on Main Street to Entrance 2 (see map). Our events will take place in the following buildings: Humanities (registration) Sewall Hall Herzstein Hall Fondren Library (book display) Rice Memorial Center or RMC (Opening Night Reception and Plenaries)
